“The Telstar strikes me as a particularly solid choice in Exeter, balancing a convenient location near the train station with the charm of individually decorated rooms. I appreciate the positive comments regarding the staff's helpfulness and the quality of the breakfast. It's a detail, but free parking near the city centre is a definite plus.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Telstar is often praised for its good location, being within walking distance of both St David's Station and the city centre. Guests frequently highlight the lovely breakfast with options catering to vegans and vegetarians, and the rooms are generally considered clean and well-furnished; some even have a private balcony. Some guests have, however, found certain rooms to be on the smaller side. Overall, it's a charming hotel that many find to be a good value for a short stay in Exeter.
