Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Spyglass & Kettle offers comfortable, nicely sized rooms equipped with tea and coffee facilities, including plenty of milk, along with an iron and ironing board. Its location is ideal, directly opposite the sandy beach and within walking distance of both Boscombe and Bournemouth. Many guests appreciate the convenience of being close to the main Southbourne Crossroads with its shops and cafes, plus Riva cafe with its outdoor seating. Some have mentioned minor cleanliness issues, such as slightly grubby teacups at breakfast, but overall, the pub's food is considered delicious and reasonably priced, especially with the 20% resident discount.

The staff helped secure our bikes. The hotel has a superb location near the beach. It is a short walk. The pub had a great atmosphere. It felt very cute.
The room looked worn. The photos online are not current. The mattress had springs that stuck out. It made sleeping difficult.
