The hotel was very close to the motorway. The rooms were clean.

The service in the restaurant was slow. Five staff members stared behind the bar, facing away from customers when we entered. We had to find a table and menus ourselves. The staff were not helpful at all.

My room offered ample space and included essential amenities like an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, and kettle. The wardrobe was spacious enough for a short stay and included sufficient hangers. The shower was amazing and lighting was very good. I found a fridge in the room also.

The pillows were of lower quality than I had anticipated.

The breakfast had a perfect mix and included a great view. I found the restaurant food to be of fantastic quality with excellent service. There was good breakfast choice and a good value bistro evening meal. The eighth-floor breakfast lets nothing to be desired.

Reception staff acted politely and efficiently. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout the facility. Emma, the front Office Manager, was excellent, offering the best customer service in the UK. The staff also had great knowledge of the surrounding area.

The location suited my needs very well. The city center was only a short train ride away. It is a quiet and peaceful place that I appreciated. There were also some fine views from the top restaurant .

The size and comfort of the bed impressed me. I slept soundly. I discovered lovely products in the bathroom, like the shower gel and body lotion. The hotel is very modern and comfortable and the clean and tidy environment.
