There are two beaches nearby-one with black sand and volcanic rocks, and another known as Playa, with yellow sand. Access to these beaches can be done by walking, biking, or via public transport. A public bus costs 1 euro and reaches Acicastello and Acitrezza, which are interesting fishing villages. The Playa beach is about 15 km from the city center, with both paid and free entry options.
