pleasant stay with friendly staff

walk-in shower efficient staff close tram

the room was adequate and had a walk in shower as i requested. the dining room was well laid out, it had enough room to pass between tables. the waiting staff were pleasant and efficient, the food was served hot quickly (i always appreciate that). the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the tram stops, important because i have some mobility issues.

my room was small, and it looked out onto a noisy side street. i could hear people shouting at night. even though my room was on the second floor, i could still hear the entertainment downstairs (it made falling asleep difficult).

the breakfast had plenty of options, i found a good variety to choose from each morning. the food arrived promptly and was hot, made for a quick and efficient meal. the portion sizes were ample.

the hotel is near the promenade, offering easy access to nearby attractions. the pleasure beach is a short distance to the left of the hotel. i also took a pleasant stroll to the tower to the right (i recommend it).

adequate stay, but some issues need addressing

tough steak sleep disturbance

The staff were efficient and caring toward all guests. That was appreciated.

The food quality was disappointing, particularly the steak pie as it contained very tough steak. I sent back the vegetable curry since it was overcooked and looked burnt. also, my room faced a noisy side street. I could hear shouting, and noise from the entertainment impacted sleep quality.

Fantastic Stay!

Check-in was quick. I signed in my car registration at reception for free parking. The breakfast included a wide variety of cereals, juices, fruit, and yogurt, with freshly prepared meals brought to the table (especially the pancakes!).

Amazing stay with seaside views!

friendly staff large lounges

This was my first time at this hotel. The staff at reception were friendly. The public areas were maintained well and had a lot of seating in the large lounges (perfect!). My room was suitable and included everything I needed for my nights count.

The shower pressure in my room was not good and sometimes went off and came back on. This happened a few times and I was on the third floor at the far end of the hotel.

My room was serviced every day. The staff topped up teas and coffee. They made the bed. They gave me new towels if needed. The pillows were the best hotel pillows I've ever had (i was so happy!).

inadequate shower pressure small entertainment room

The shower pressure was inadequate. It fluctuated and occasionally cut off completely. This was inconvenient. The entertainment room was too small for the number of guests. People queued early to secure seats. Some did not finish their meals to get better seats.
