room size maid service on-site restaurant
I liked the room size. It was larger than I expected. The daily maid service kept the space tidy and refreshed. I appreciated having a restaurant in the hotel for convenient meals (it saved time).
The sound insulation was not great. I could hear doors closing in other rooms.

central park helpful staff spacious room
the location offered easy access to central park and several restaurants i found the staff consistently helpful and friendly the room was quite spacious it featured a comfortable bed with quality linens i also appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel
the in-room coffee maker was not working properly it affected my morning routine a bit

Fantastic stay!
professional staff comfortable bedding quiet environment excellent food
The staff were AMAZING. They handled every request promptly. My room had comfortable beds and pillows. I liked how quiet it was, especially being in the city. The restaurant was excellent. It had wonderful service and delicious food.
The coffee maker in the room didn't work, a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is well kept. It offers a prestigious feel. The location IS great for accessing restaurants and transportation. The gym had essential equipment for basic workouts, so that was very practical.

The on-site restaurant is a real highlight. NICE Matin provided excellent meals and service. Breakfast was particularly enjoyable. The convenience of having a quality restaurant right there was a definite plus.

the location was convenient near the subway. i liked the attentive staff i encountered. housekeeping kept the room clean .
the elevators were noticeably slow i experienced. the superior queen room seemed quite small to me. i found it difficult to regulate the temperature with the ac unit.

excellent dining quiet room superb location
i found the location superb near the subway and several restaurants. the room was quiet offering a needed respite after long days. the adjacent restaurant, nice matin, provided excellent dining options making meal times very convenient
I noticed the bathroom lacked a facial cleanser. Only body wash was available

Absolutely Fantastic Stay!
prime location dining options subway access
The location WAS prime, near many dining options on the Upper West Side. The subway is only a block away. It connects you to the whole city. Central Park is also close.
The elevators moved SLOWLY, sometimes requiring a bit of a wait.

The bell staff were attentive and always available to assist with luggage, and they offered helpful directions. The front desk staff were very professional and quick during check-in. They ensured a smooth and easy process.

unpleasant odor old carpet
the location was acceptable, close to some shops.
the room had a distinct, unpleasant odor. it smelled strongly of old carpet. this made it difficult to relax. i found this VERY disappointing.
