Mixed feelings about my stay
late musicbroken hairdryer
The noise levels WERE disruptive. A restaurant below played music until midnight, it made early sleep impossible before a planned excursion. The water heater BROKE during my husband's shower, this forced us to move apartments mid-stay. NO compensation was offered, even after filing an official complaint. The hairdryer in the second apartment was also broken.

amazing location and staff are great

the location was perfect to be near things without being too busy. i liked the little amenities like tea and coffee made it very cozy. the staff was kind and accommodating.
there was no hot water for showering so i had to shower with cold water. it was not pleasant to do so. showering with hot water would have been a good thing.

a popular square sits nearby and offers many restaurants and bars around the hotel. the hotel provides easy access to barrio alto and near the town square, it makes restaurants and shopping accessible.

there is lovely restaurants close by the hotel which makes dining convenient. the hotel does provide an excellent breakfast basket for the guests and many choices are available for restaurants and bars.

great stay with excellent amenities

the staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was cute, it had a great location on the praça das flores. there were many restaurants in the immediate surroundings and easy walking distance to many additional choices in the bairro alto (i wish i could have stayed longer).
the street front gate was very narrow. the stairs were steep and high, one had to climb high. the mattress sagged and was uncomfortable.

the room featured adequate storage space, suitable for a few days' stay. tiles in the bathroom were a nice touch. the bed was comfortable.

the front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating . they provided helpful directions and recommendations for local dining. the team ensured a smooth check-in and check-out process.

the location offered convenient access to nearby restaurants and attractions. i found many dining choices within easy walking distance, a major plus. public transportation options were also readily available (i used them daily).
