A romantic getaway!
romantic atmosphere fresh milk
The decorations create an atmosphere of pure romance. The bed was heavenly, guaranteeing restful sleep. Fresh milk, provided with tea and coffee, added such a special touch. The breakfast choices were AMAZING!!!
Parking was a bit difficult to find upon arrival. It would be helpful to have clearer directions provided in advance.

large bath really good breakfast central location
the room greatly exceeded the website pictures. the bath was very large. breakfast was really good. the location was central, near all points of interest.
i struggled to find the parking initially, it caused a slight delay.

the staff seemed genuinely enjoy their work. this enjoyment was very evident to guests. it felt genuinely cute and not at all snooty, i enjoyed that.

The building has an amazing history that the staff are eager to discuss. they restored it after the fire, i think very well. afternoon teas are very popular here. A good choice for other guests.

the cooked breakfast was excellent. the staff was also very friendly.
upon arrival, finding parking was hard. i was told there was no bar available (quite surprising for a hotel this size, i think).

The beautiful double room first floor was quite nice. The bathroom had luxurious toiletries and a fantastic shower. A quiet night was experienced despite being in the city centre..
I noticed the reception is not open 24/7 which is understandable.
