Location & Access

Palacio Ca Sa Galesa is located in Palma's Old Town, near buildings, patios, monuments, and museums. Famed Sant Fransesc Church and Santa Eularia Square, with its emblematic church, antiquarian bookshops, and lively cafés, are less than 10 minutes on foot away. The bus stop for Line 1 is located in the arrivals area of Palma de Mallorca Airport. The hotel will be left at the intersection of Miramar-Morey and Alonso streets. Landmarks nearby include Es Baluard Museu d'Art Modern i Contemporani de Palma (1 km), Consolat de Mar de Palma (0.5 km), Convent of Santa Clara (0.3 km), Placa Major (0.5 km), Can Solleric (0.5 km), Plaza Mayor (0.5 km), and Plaza Espana (1 km).

Services Available

Palacio Ca Sa Galesa provides Wi-Fi Internet access, 24-hour room service, express check-in/out, air conditioning, heating, parking facilities, and free bike rental. A personal service tailored to individual needs is offered. The small team running the hotel under the direction of Sonia Manzo Maranges helps arrange excursions and even personal shoppers. Cots, high chairs, clothes hangers and bath and lavatory seats for young children are available.

“In Palma's Gothic Quarter, this historic palace delivers an exclusive experience with its limited rooms and personalized service. Artistic decor and a rooftop terrace with cathedral views enhance its charm, and I think the 24-hour gourmet dining is a particularly sophisticated touch. It's a relaxing yet intimate stay that stands out for its attention to detail.”

Palacio Ca Sa Galesa enjoys a superb location near the cathedral, placing restaurants and bars within a short walk. Guests often appreciate the large, fresh rooms and the experience of staying in a palace, even though some found the beds a bit firm. A highlight for many is the breakfast, with chef André preparing meals to order; the rooftop terrace also offers great views. Some guests have noted occasional noise from the courtyard in the evening.

The air conditioning did not work when I arrived. This made for a VERY uncomfortable first impression. noise from the courtyard continued late into the night. My room was small. It needed minor repairs too. The jacuzzi bath was not working, and the taps were loose in the sink.

Some Disappointments at Historic Hotel

unserviced rooftop difficult passage
The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the area near the cathedral.
The room was smaller than expected. The rooftop area lacked service, and no phone was available to contact reception. I searched for a drink at 7 pm on a Saturday and no staff were present in the bar, reception, or dining room (this seemed odd). A car was parked in the middle of reception (seriously).
