HGU New York provides 90 rooms and suites. Each room features a Sealy Posturpedic Glenborough Cushion Firm Euro Pillowtop queen or king mattress. Rooms include a desk, armoire, crown molding, and hardwood floors with custom Turkish Patchwork rugs. Bathrooms offer CO Bigelow products and terry cloth towels from Turkey, plus a plush HGU robe. Suites include Williams Sonoma sofa beds with full-sized mattresses. NYC pre-war style bathrooms feature systems by Toto, Grohe, and Porcelanosa that conserve water.
Dining options
American Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a bistro-style menu. The menu includes roasted sea bass, cheeseburgers, and quinoa and avocado salad. Breakfast is served in the front lobby lounge, with a continental option including cereal, fruit, and pastries. The in-room mini-bar features high-end snacks from Dean & Deluca, plus small-batch spirits like Hudson Baby Bourbon Whisky and Monkey 47 Dry Gin. There is also a lobby bar and a lounge. The 1905 Lounge is a cocktail bar and lounge furnished with Chesterfield sofas, leather armchairs, and art.
