The Superior King Rooms, located on the second floor, measure 18 metres2 and feature a king-size bed, fridge and a bath with shower en-suite with views across Newquay town to the sea. The Classic King Rooms, located on the first floor, measure 16 metres2 and feature a bay window to enjoy the views across Newquay town to the sea; each has a king-size bed. They feature a smaller en-suite with the sink being located in the room. The Standard Super King Room, located on the second floor, measures 16 metres2, with a superking-size bed. The Standard King Room, located on the first floor, measures 16 metres2, with a king-size bed and a small bath with shower en-suite. The Cosy King Rooms, located on the first and second floors, measure 12 metres2, with a king-size bed and a small shower en-suite. Additionally, one room on the second floor can be arranged with two single beds (3ft each) and features a larger shower; this room is available via direct booking for a minimum 3-night stay. The Family Suite, located on the first floor, features sea views, a king-size bed and a TV; and a smaller room features a single bed with a TV. A small shower and toilet en-suite are in the main room, and the sink is located separately in the main room.

Geckos Rest is a three-story Victorian-style town house that has operated as a Bed and Breakfast for at least seventy years. Check-in is between 2pm and 6pm, and check-out is by 10.30am. The property does not accept 'stag' or 'hen' parties or groups greater than 4 people. The location was decent with town just a short walk.

The room had a problem. The shower temperature fluctuated wildly between scalding and freezing, it was a real issue. I couldn't relax because the walls seemed paper thin, I heard every door slam and conversation nearby, annoying.

John and Amy were fantastic hosts. They explained everything upon my arrival. My room was immaculate, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and there was a great selection to choose from. The modern bathroom was an added bonus.

The driveway to the rear parking was a little difficult to find initially.

The room featured comfortable bedding, and i slept REALLY well each night. The bathroom was modern, it included amenities such as fresh towels and toiletries, and was kept SPOTLESSLY clean. Fans were available, made evenings very comfortable.

Parking was available at the front and the rear, i found this a HUGE plus. Access to beaches, town, and other areas was easy. The hotel overlooks the ocean, it is a short walk to town, and the location is quiet.
