Acceptable, but Issues with Responsiveness

excellent location clean decoration unresponsive staff chat message

The location was excellent. It was clean and beautifully decorated.

The staff were not responsive at all. No one is present at the hotel and they did not respond to chat messages, the platform they requested me to use to communicate with them. I sent a message about checking in early and they did not respond for three days!

The Coates room was small. There was not much space to move around. It did not have proper storage. The view looked out at some bins. This.

a romantic getaway

lovely linen convenient location efficient housekeeping

The room had superb attention to detail with lovely linen and bedding. The decor. i especially loved the convenient location. it was away from tourist areas, yet still close enough to walk to where we wanted. customer service was thoughtful. the housekeeping staff were very efficient.

The sliding wooden door to the very bijou bathroom, right beside the bed, would often roll back open a tiny bit, even after closing. there wasn't any privacy at all when using the bathroom facilities. I could hear someone breathing in the bed beyond.

the beautiful room melville included coffee, tea, chocolates, and biscuits. a high-quality hairdryer was also provided. bedding felt luxurious. the room smelled lovely because of the scotch pine scent used during cleaning.

there is an arrangement with a nearby tech shop where luggage can be stored securely before check-in. the self check-in was effortless and convenient. i really did not miss having a front desk as everything was readily available in the room.

the location is near public transportation. the tram stop is a five minute walk. it makes traveling to and from the airport easy. dean village and stockbridge are also nearby.

The location provided easy access to nearby attractions. We found some boutique chocolates on the bed. That was a nice welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the tea station added a touch of charm.

I found the stairs to be quite steep, and this might be difficult with mobility issues.

The hotel offers a top up cupboard on the first floor. Guests can replenish coffee pods and tea. I also noted ice and ice buckets are available for convenience. That is AMAZING!!!

Our Belford room was well-appointed for all our needs. The check-in process was seamless, and the room included a capsule coffee machine plus teas and milks. The building also provided umbrellas for guest use. That was convenient.

mixed feelings about this place

non-existent storage broken door

The lack of on-site staff was a real issue for me. the entrance door didn't work properly, and there was no one to assist when i arrived late at night. i had to try multiple times to get in. also. the promised bag storage was non-existent. Quite inconvenient.
