Solid Stay Near the Airport
spacious room memory foam friendly staff
I appreciated the spacious room. The bed offered superb comfort, I think it had some kind of memory foam. The hotel staff seemed friendly during both check-in and check-out. They were efficient.
I noticed dust on the carpet in my room. Only three hangers were in the wardrobe. More would have been useful. The bedside table drawer lacked a knob, I found it inconvenient.
Dining

I found the home made bread and artisan butter delicious. The cured salmon starter featured as a jewel. I enjoyed the locally sourced beef. It was cooked perfectly, and seasonal vegetables accompanied it.
Facilities
8/10
The private courtesy car park was convenient. I liked that the bus stop next door, because it goes directly to East Midlands Airport. The TV worked well, I had no problems with it .
Service

Helen gave a warm welcome upon my arrival, I felt really appreciated. The staff aimed to please always, they were very helpful. The service at afternoon tea included smiles and courtesy, it was pretty nice.
