Hoots offers live traditional music in the Ceilidh Bar every night from 9:30 pm. Celtic jewellery, quaichs, local pottery, Caithness glass and silverware can be found at several gift shops located in Church Street and in the Victorian Market. Leakey's Books is an antiquarian bookshop located in an old church.
Location and Transport
By The Brae is located 7 km from Inverness and 15 km from Inverness Airport. It is located 2 miles from Culloden on the B9006 Culloden Road, near the Culloden Battlefield. From the A9 driving north as you approach Inverness pass by the old (disused) tourist information office on the left and then exit onto the B9177 signposted to Milton of Leys and Culloden. Local transport links include bus services and coach tours to the Highlands, and rail links to other destinations. The local Tourist Information Centre has timetables.
