poor soundproofing noisy equipment

i had booked a standard room twin bed one. the tv didn't work i didn't bother reporting it. more annoyingly, the soundproofing was terrible i could hear everything from neighboring rooms. there was also some kind of noisy equipment running nearby all night it was like a constant hum or vibration it was hard to ignore.

i am grateful the staff was helpful and efficient at check-in! the hotel is located conveniently inside the airport. i found that the facilities were clean and well kept, meeting my expectations after a long flight.

the room was a bit small for my liking.
