The hotel gave me a birthday cake unexpectedly! The receptionist saw my passport and took the initiative. It was a very pleasant surprise to find it in my room. I loved the room service. It was prompt each day.
The elevators were a bit slow sometimes. But I didn't really mind because the rest of my visit was fantastic.

merely adequate, with issues
broken air conditioning external elevator control
the location was central, near major attractions.
The air conditioning in several rooms did NOT work, holding temperatures at 25 degrees celsius. technicians lacked the skill to repair it. I had to change rooms twice because of the heat. elevators were controlled externally, preventing direct access to friends' floors without first going to preset floors like the gym or lobby.

fantastic experience
useful kitchen comfortable bed convenient light
the hotel gave me an upgrade, very nice. i enjoyed the useful kitchen features, a fridge and freezer combi was great for freezing water bottles. the bed was very comfortable, the convenient light switches allowed me to control lights easily.
Waiting for the elevators was a bit long. I spent some time waiting.

The hotel is an easy walking distance to the metro station. It was convenient. i did not bother with taxis to and from the airport, i used the metro system. the location allowed efficient travel.

breakfast was great, a fantastic spread with many options was available. the restaurant on the higher floor gave great views while i enjoyed the food. i enjoyed the creamiest hummus.

My room had a lounge area, a nice addition. the kitchen was great. The fridge and freezer combination was useful. i found a pull-out washing line in the shower, it was very useful.
