The Newbury Guest House enjoys a prime location near Newbury Street shops and restaurants, as well as other Boston landmarks like Fenway and Symphony Hall. Guests often appreciate the clean, spacious rooms and comfortable beds, with some even highlighting the charm of bay window rooms; the provision of complimentary coffee and water in the reception area is also a plus for many. While some guests have noted a less-than-perfect elevator experience, the hotel is generally considered a gem in a great location. The availability of parking for $30 per day makes exploring the city even more convenient.

Acceptable, but with Issues

helpful suggestionsmall bathroomcold blast
The staff provided helpful suggestions for local dining.
My stay had issues. The bathroom proved quite small. One could not enter or exit the shower without touching the toilet, and I could not turn the shower on without stepping inside, which resulted in a blast of cold water.
