The room had a comfortable king bed. I got extra pillows in less than ten minutes. Storing our luggage after checkout was very helpful. It was a real bonus. The staff was nice.
Basic amenities were missing. There were no room slippers, and only one small body lotion was provided.

The hotel is next to Bryant Park. This is where the winter holiday shops are. There is also a subway station nearby. I found both a Japanese market and a Whole Foods within easy reach of the hotel, though the parking was expensive!

the location was fine, really close to everything i needed.
The room i got was not good. it was very small and felt old. the wallpaper was even peeling off the wall. It looked bad. i was expecting more for what i paid.

i found the staff polite and accommodating. the location was great, with easy access to main attractions. i was especially pleased with the free luggage storage offered before check-in and after check-out. also the room was very clean, and it felt safe here.
the noise from outside was quite noticeable at night. this made it a bit difficult to fall asleep at times. i recommend soundproofing upgrades in rooms.
