the beds were comfy! the staff was lovely and friendly. i had a great night's sleep and the room had a kettle with tea and coffee. an iron was available too. it was a very reasonable price and the en-suite was very clean with toiletries.

the area felt quite run down and unsafe. walking down the road wasn't ideal, especially for females alone. the surrounding properties were derelict.

The location was quite central. I could reach the attractions without too much trouble.

The room felt cramped. The bathroom was very dark and the shower temperature was difficult to regulate. It alternated between freezing cold and scalding hot. The building itself seems to be affected by some settling issues as the floors were noticeably slanted. the area looked run down. Most of the properties in the neighbourhood seemed neglected.

The host was very kind. He addressed our needs quickly when we needed more toilet roll. The room was adequate.. we were mostly out visiting local attractions. We also found on-road parking.

Our room was at the top of the hotel. It was very warm, and there was no air circulation. No fans were available to improve this situation. Other properties nearby seemed derelict.

the room was quiet at all times, enabling a good night's sleep.

my room was at the top of the hotel and it was very warm. there was no air circulation. staff did not seem concerned about this lack of ventilation. the surrounding area appears quite run down, which gave me a sense of unease when walking alone.
